Our readers often arrive worried — a scary warning just appeared, or they are unsure which security software to trust. This policy describes how we make sure our guides are accurate, safe and easy to follow.
Our standards
- Safety first. We recommend built-in Windows and browser tools before anything else. We never recommend security software we cannot verify, and we never recommend registry cleaners, "PC optimizers" or remote-access tools.
- Accuracy. We follow each set of steps on a current version of Windows 11 before publishing, and we check instructions against official documentation from Microsoft and other vendors where available.
- Clarity. We name every button and menu exactly as it appears on screen, explain what each step does and say whether it can be undone.
- Order of steps. We start with the simplest, least risky fix and build up, so readers can stop as soon as the problem is solved.
Independence
No company pays to be mentioned, reviewed or ranked on MyAntiPC. Our pages don't contain affiliate links. If this ever changes, we will clearly label any affected page and update this policy.
Updates and reviews
Windows and browsers change regularly. We review our guides after major Windows 11 feature updates and whenever readers tell us a step no longer matches what they see. Each guide shows a "Last reviewed" date.
